The Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) department at Oscar Mayer aims to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered, regardless of background or identity. D&I efforts support company objectives by ensuring policies and practices align with a diverse workforce and are effectively communicated across all Oscar Mayer sites.

Team Culture and Dynamics

A Day in the Life
A typical day includes translating materials into multiple languages, supporting employee resource groups (ERGs), engaging with staff on-site to hear their concerns, and implementing the D&I strategy. The team also works closely with other departments to ensure inclusivity is embedded across the business.

Challenges include overcoming cultural and language differences, addressing resistance to change, navigating site-specific cultures, managing competing priorities, and overcoming communication silos.
