People Administrator
Job description
ABOUT US:
We are a fast-paced food manufacturing business, specialising in producing ready meals for a wide range of customers. Operating from a large-scale factory environment, we are committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and delicious products. The successful candidate will predominantly support low care production areas but also support other area within training, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
Main Purpose and Context of the Job
Maintain, provide management information on the People XD system. Admin support for the management of absence, grievance, disciplinary and recruitment. Provide administrative support to the People team and ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Main Responsibilities
- Answer Telephone calls both external and internal.
- Cover Reception, complete general admin and post duties.
- To be the first port of call with employee queries.
- Assist the People Team with general admin duties, filing & scanning.
- Projects โ Undertake projects as and when requested.
- Absence โ monitor, record and report daily absences as well as maintaining an accurate database to ensure that people are treated in line with the company absence procedure.
- Administration โ ensure all employee details/records are accurate and that they are securely stored.
Previous Experience (required to perform duties satisfactorily)
- Administrative experience, good systems knowledge, an appreciation of interviewing techniques, familiarity with disciplinary and grievance procedures, working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Able to deal with a multitude of different tasks in a highly organised manner. Be able to converse at all levels in the organisation.
Key skills (required to perform duties satisfactorily)
- Good interpersonal skills, MS Office capability, good organisational skills.
