Supply Chain Analyst

Job Purpose

 

  • Assisting the Supply Chain Controller in their role, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations by supporting in data

collation for the use of internal & external reporting and analysis for the Group Supply Chain.

  • Build and sustain effective relationships with our internal team members/stake holders making sure we are a team that’s

trusted to provide accurate information/data.

  • Supporting external customer supply chain teams with KPI performance and challenge resolution.

Context

 

The Supply Chain Analyst position is an existing role well established role within the Oscar Mayer business. This position

requires a pro-active approach with the ability to be flexible as the business evolves, introducing more customers / brands.

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Collating data and issuing daily, weekly and periodic reports to internal & external stake holders

2. Responsible for the collection of source data and maintenance of data using matrices and trackers.

3. Performance monitoring of given customers against target KPI's (service, availability, waste) ensuring shortages and

failures are investigated and resolved.

4. Working closely in particular with Commercial Managers to support data led decisions and communications to customers.

5. Influencing a range of internal stakeholders, to achieve required results.

6. Support the Supply Chain Controller with other activities as required – admin support, holiday cover etc.

7. Supporting the internal Group S&Op process.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

 

  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills

  • Intermediate Analytical skills - able to interpret data and add insight and relevance to data

  • High level Attention to Detail

  • Experience in Supply Chain / Analysis / Admin/ Commercial , preferably in FMCG organisation

  • Confident, motivated with self-belief & persuasiveness

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment within a cross functional team

  • An enthusiastic, committed, and flexible approach

  • Be effective in the ability to hit deadline
